Advanced Soil Vapor Extraction Modeling

SVE-3D is the most advanced 3D soil vapor extraction model on the market today.  Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) has proved to be a successful technology to cleanup soils and unconfined aquifers contaminated with hydrocarbons. Typical contaminated field sites have complicated heterogeneous and/or anisotropic hydrogeology. The sources of contamination are spatially distributed and/or changing with time. SVE-3D can be used to:

• Estimate number of SVE wells, wells’ spacing, and cleanup time under complex conditions
• Simulate 3D gas flow and multi-component transport in variably saturated porous media.
• Incorporate the effect of groundwater upwelling and reduced air permeability on SVE/remediation.
