Collection System Design Features in HYDRA

HYDRA includes powerful features for design of new collection systems. You can analyze existing sewer lines and design new pipes for storm and sanitary sewers. You select the criteria for the design of your new pipes:

• How much flow a pipe can carry before it is considered overloaded. (maximum d/D or depth over diameter of the pipe).
• What size pipes you can use in construction.
• Maximum flow velocity.
• Criteria for how deep the pipes can be below the surface.

HYDRA automatically optimizes the design based on your criteria and calculates any needed data.

• Invert elevations
• Pipe diameter
• Slope
• Match crowns, inverts, 2/3 points
• Parallel pipes
